Hello Happy Crafters!! I’m so excited to share this brand new take on a Travelers Notebook using the stunningly vibrant Lost in Paradise collection from Graphic 45.
Lush doesn’t even begin to describe the beauty of this tropics-inspired paper collection. As vibrant as it is cheerful, filled with flamingos and palm trees, tropical birds and butterflies, I knew I couldn’t wait. I had to play with it the moment it arrived. This is the Fun with Graphic 45: Lost in Paradise Travelers Notebook!
This project uses Graphic 45’s fun new Travelers Notebook as the foundation. (Yes, that part is already made for you. YAY!) It comes with three booklet inserts: one plain, one lined, and one grid. And the good news is that G45 sells those inserts separately so if you want to use this as a notebook/planner, you can, and simply replace the booklets with new ones as you use them up.
However, in this case, it can also be used as a photo-journal, where you can include photos, stories, art, and memorabilia. SO much fun!
Now, you all know me. You know I can’t just leave a project in its basic form. Oh no, I had to upscale this notebook and BOY did I! It’s packed with so much extra. You’ll get interactive add-ons inside the front and back cover AND the covers of all three booklets have been upscaled as well.
Example: The cover of the first booklet has a deep pocket that stores a handy mini-booklet! I included this little 16-page booklet to go with your booklet! (I don’t know about you, but I always need a little notepad to go with my regular notepad. If you’re like me, well, here you go!)
I had so much fun with this, it was hard to put on the brakes. So, I didn’t. HA! You like a chunky book? Well, I’ve got just the project for you! These papers are just so glorious.
I also took all the leftovers from the paper collection and added lots of whimsical little goodies to the insides of the booklets as well.
You’ll learn an array of fun little tips and techniques, like how to add a magnet bookmark, little clipboard accessories, paper clip page & note holders…the list goes on. I told you this was extra!
I had a hard time just narrowing it down to these bazillion photos.
I could have added so many more.
Charm dangles on the spine, and one of graphic 45’s vintage keys on the elastic strap? Yes, I used it alllllll.
This project uses the Lost In Paradise 8×8 collection pad and the Patterns and Solids 12×12 coordinating pad for this collection. So many hidden goodies. I even beaded the strings for the button-tie closures. I love the little details that make it fun!
The inside-back cover has been upscaled to include a fold-out that introduces a ton more space to add even more goodies!
These are just the tags and folder that fit into the notebook cover!
