Happy Anniversary Sale!

Hello Happy Crafters!

Today is a special day for me as it marks the second anniversary of the launch of my MiniBooksRMe business!! I couldn’t be more grateful to all of you who have supported me in this endeavor over the past two years. I had no idea how this would go when I started, so It is both exciting and not a little humbling to be able to say that it has far exceeded any of my expectations. And I owe all of that to YOU!!

As my way of saying THANK YOU I have put my entire Etsy shop on sale! From now through midnight Sunday, October 20th, ALL of the digital tutorials in my shop are 20% off!

No minimum purchase requited and no special codes needed. The prices have already been automatically reduced.

So if there is a tutorial you’ve had your eye on, now is the time to snag it!

You can get to my MiniBooksRMe Etsy shop HERE.

Thank you for making these first two years so much fun! There are more projects to come, (so many projects!) and more crafting to dive in to. I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Happy crafting!

  1. Donna, I purchased the Graphic 45 Joy the the World Kit. Do you know if the kit will include the cutting guide as well as the assembly instructions? I plan on making a couple extra as gifts. If the cutting guide is not included with the kit, I’ll buy it now.

    Thank you, Carol

  2. Thank you for the discount and for your wonderful creations.

I have a curious question … I see not only yours but a lot of albums with tags, pockets and tuck spots etc… But … Never one that actually used pictures, journaling or something of their own in the pockets. Not that the albums are not decked out to the hilt … but actually bought by someone and then put to use. Have you?

I make my own albums and show them to people with my photos and notice they never get the flips/flaps right, tags fall out, and tuck spots are not filled back right …. So that is why I asked about your experience. I’ve stopped using anything that is not attached … just a learning experience.

I loved your laughter and your directions … makes following along so much fun!

    • Hi Lee! I’m so glad you are enjoying the videos! I can’t speak for other designers, but the reason I don’t show my album with photos is because I’ve discovered it tends to limit the imagination of crafters seeing a variety of different theme/holiday/etc photos in their own.

As for giving gifts that have flaps, tags, etc. I usually include a card that says something like “I hope you enjoy this unique scrapbook of memories. Be sure to peek under all the flaps, and check out all the fun goodies tucked into the pockets.” Something like that. I haven’t had any issues with folks not understanding how they work, but I tend to target certain types of projects to the recipient, knowing what level of “craftiness” or interactive fun they’d be up for, if that makes sense. There’s always something that will suit each recipient. 🙂
