Graphic 45 Fashion Forward 12×12 Calendar Tutorial ~ Now Available!

Hello Happy Crafters!

The days are getting brisker here in the Blue Ridge Mountains and snow is in the forecast! A perfect time to snuggle into my studio for some serious holiday project making! I’m excited to announce my brand new 12×12 Calendar Project using Graphic 45’s bright and snazzy new Fashion Forward collection, and Authenique’s new 12×12 Blank Calendar pack!

I love calendar projects as I make photo calendars for my family each year, so I was thrilled when G45 launched a brand new one this year. I love designing calendars that showcase photos on each page, along with spots for journaling/labeling & some fun interactive photo fun as well. Each page features at least one G45 Tag Folder, with a ribbon or magnet closure, which create spots for more photos and gives each month a fun “discovery” spot.

I used Graphic 45’s 12×12 Fashion Forward collection (one sheet of all 12 papers, and one set of cardstock stickers), G45’s Fashion Forward Patterns & Solids (the whole pad), and packs of G45’s ivory Square Tags and ATC Tags.

The Authentique calendar pages are blank, so you can use this tutorial to create a calendar for any year. Mine is designed for 2020, in terms of how I decorated the actual calendar pages. So adjust to when your months start and stop when adding your décor items if creating for a future year.

The tutorial includes all the matting sizes, so you can also substitute a different paper collection if desired. Whether it be a different calendar collection, or any collection you wish. Add solid cardstock in lieu of the Patterns & Solids paper and use stamps to create your month labels. SO much flexibility with this project. You can also adjust photo mat sizes to acommodate the photos you want to use. Use my layouts as a starting off spot, and collage as you desire. You can also swap the layout page designs for any month, if certain months photos would work better on a different month layout. Mix and match all you like!

  • Check out thefull walk-through of the finished project, including binding tips!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you give this fun project a try!

Stay tuned for more holiday cheer coming your way. 🙂
