New Tutorial Available! File Folder Folio #2: The Sound of Autumn!

Hello Happy Crafters!

I’m excited to share that the tutorial for The Sound of Autumn version of my Series 2: File Folder Folio #2 is now in the Etsy shop!

Get the tutorial here: File Folder Folio #2: Sound of Autumn Tutorial

You may recall that earlier this year I designed this folio using Ciao Bella’s gorgeous Sound of Spring collection.

When they released The Sound of Autumn, it was simply too beautiful to pass up, so I created an autumn version using that same File Folder Folio #2 foundation.

The tutorial has two brand new PDF files: a Cutting Guide showing how all the papers for this project are cut, both the foundation folder mats AND the pattern paper mats. All the sizes for ALL mats are listed, so you can use any paper collection you wish. Then you’ll use the full color photo, step-by-step instruction file to assemble and decorate your project.

Ciao Bella does such a stunning job with their papers and all the detailed cut-aparts. I loved getting to play with these papers. (I hope they release a Sound of Summer next year!)

Check out the full walk-through of the finished project here:

I hope you’ll give this fun folio a try!

File Folder Folio #2: Sound of Spring Tutorial Now Available!

Hello Happy Crafters!

So happy to share my latest File Folder Folio project with you all today using Ciao Bella’s stunning The Sound of Spring collection. So much eye candy in this collection!

It was such fun to work with this Italian company for the first time. It definitely won’t be the last! (More on that below!)

I had fun trying some new things with this one, including making my own dangles from scrap chipboard. Fun!

The richness of the design makes working with this collection so easy! It does all the pretty for you!

Inside, I worked with as many large format foundations as I could in order to showcase thees designs. On the left side, are two big pockets, each with a folder-size pull out, and a fun double pocket with smaller folder tags.

No matter where you look, beautiful art and inspiring sentiments.

The pull out tabbed folders are full size, just cropped for width. Plenty of space for large format photos.

With fun flaps and tuck spots inside for smaller goodies!

And that’s just the left side!

On the right are three pocket flaps. Each one flips down, giving you even more space for photos and journaling.

And each pocket has a gatefold folder tucked inside! Like mini-folios themselves, three times over.

Check out the full walk-through of the project below (including a sneak peek at the end of the next Ciao Bella collection I’ll be working with!)
